GRIMES, Sabra - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro – Mrs. Sabra Grimes, 79 years old of Howard died early Saturday morning at the home of a son, Herschel Grimes west of here. She came to the home of her son about a week ago to spend the winter and had been ill only a few days Mrs. Grimes was born Sept 13, 1865 at Howard where she spent her entire life. Surviving besides the son at whose home she passed away are: two son, Walter Grimes of Covington and Paterson Grimes of Lansing, Mich; a daughter, Mrs. Letha Kessner of Mishawauka, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Myers of Clinton and a brother, Henry Tomlinson of Washington state.  Funeral services were held at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Howard Presbyterian Church with burial at Silver Island cemetery.
