Note: Oscar was a wonderful man and fabulous genealogist. I would mention someone to him and in two minutes, I was completely filled-in on the family, dates/names/cemeteries/ you name. The first time I met him he was likely in his late 70s or early 80s and he tromped me around Phanuel Lutheran Cemetery, pointing-out my relatives' stones when at that time, I didn't even know the relatives I was relation to :) I loved Oscar, he was a faithful, knowledgeable all-around wonderful man!!
