Wallace- Lulie Mae Grimes, 77, Wallace, died at 2:10 a.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital. She had been seriously ill in the hospital for two weeks prior to her death. Mrs. Grimes was a member of the Lutheran Church of Wallace and a member of the Ladies Aid of that church. Most of Mrs. Grimes life was spent in Montgomery and Fountain counties. She was born two miles east of Wallace on Feb. 2, 1887, the daughter of Loranzo and Ovilla Sharon Myers. On Aug. 17, 1916, she married W. Oscar Grimes at the Lutheran parsonage in Wallace. Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Survivors include the husband; two sons, Paul of Hillsboro and Russell of Rockville; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Grimes of Wallace, and a grandson, Leslie of Rockville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. John Stacey of the Wallace Lutheran Church will officiate assisted by Rev. Allen Keiffer of Detroit, Mich. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home.
