Hillsboro Jan 23 - Leroy Eller Grimes, 45, widely known as a leader in the Spiritualist Church died suddenly at his home south of Hillsboro Thursday night at 5:30 o'clock.  Grimes had made a trip to Illinois earlier in the day and en route home complained of pains in his chest. After he arrive home, he lady down on a bed and death came within a short time.  Born Jan 19, 1886 at Parsons, Kans he was the son of Charles A. and Martha Eller Grimes.  His mother died shortly after his birth and when he was two weeks old his father brought him to Hillsboro to make his home with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. James Keeling. He was never married.  Surivors include his stepmother, Mrs. Emma Grimes and a sister, Miss Helen Grims with whome he lived. Other survivors include two uncles, Isaac Eller of Decatur, Ill and John Eller ofo Cerogorda (smudged) Ill.  Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with burial in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.

Note: He does not show up on findgrave so sure are lucky for the wonderful job Peg & Don Proctor did on the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery database or we'd not know he was here :(
