VEEDERSBURG — Joseph A. Grimes, 54, of Veedersburg was pronounced dead on arrival at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville, Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. He was employed by the Mitchell Construction Company of Veedersburg and was working on a water system at Hillsboro when he became ill and was rushed to the hospital. Born in Fountain County March 6, 1911, he was the son of Edward and Louisa Nicholson Grimes. He was married May 15,1929 to Mary Keller, who survives along with his father, who resides in Dallas, Ore. Also surviving are three children, Lloyd of Tillamook, Ore., Mrs. Esther Hayman of Kingman and Mrs. Madeline Keller of Veedersburg. There are two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Long of Attica and Mrs. Hazel Parker of Dallas, Ore., 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body has been taken to the Fishero Funeral Home here where arrangements are incomplete.  --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG — Funeral services for Joseph Grimes, who died Wednesday, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fishero Funeral Home here. Rev. E. V. Wamsley will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.  --typed by Walt W
