ATTICA — Funeral services for Charles L. Grimes, age 77, a life resident of Attica who died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the DeSutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Douglas Dickey officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery here. Mr. Grimes, who died in the Rockville Sanatorium where he had been a patient three years, was born in Attica Nov. 25, 1887. He was a former Wabash Railroad employee and a former butcher. He retired in 1960 because of ill health. He was married in March 1910 to Goldie Coon, who preceded him in death in 1929. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Pete Dispennette of Attica; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. -- typed by Walt W
