Hillsboro, Aug 8 - Funeral services for Charles Grimes, who died at his farm home south of Hillsboro at 4:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon were conducted at the family home at 2 p.m. Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville were in and burial was made in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Mr. Grimes who was born at Wallace in 1859 (March 29 -kz) the son of Charles and Mary Grimes, had been ill with paralysis the past 3 years and suffered another stroke a week ago. He was married twice, first to Martha Eller, who died and in 1891 to Emma Livengood. He was a member of Prairie Chapel Church. Surviving are one son, Roy Grimes at home; one daughter, Miss Helen Grimes at home; two sisters, Mrs. Hester Ann Livengood, Hillsboro and Mrs. Mary Clawson, Martinsville and one brother Ed Grimes, Florida.
