GRIMES, Arthur A. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Arthur A. Grimes, 53, died Monday morning in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health several years and seriously ill two weeks. Mr. Grimes was employed by Marshall Studios here and was a member of the Methodsit Church here. Born March 23, 1912, in Fountain County, he was a son of Bert C. and Ellen Price Grimes. He was married to Vivna (sic) Allen, who died last July 2. His only immediate survivors are three brothers, Hollis A. of Winchester and Robert M. and Leland H both of Veedersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. The body was brought to Parham Funeral Home wehre friends may call after 2 p. m. Tuesday. Rites are set for 2 p. m. Wednesday in Methodist church here. Rev. Mrs. Edith Bruner will officiate. The body will lie in state at the church an hour preceding the services. Burial in Fraternal Cemetery, Kingman.
