Attica – Former
local businessman James Meredith Greenman,
78, died at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday apparently of a heart attack in his
residence at Indianapolis. A native of Ann Arbor, Mich, he operated a
restaurant here several years ago. Mr. Greenman resided at Columbus and
Nashville before moving to Indianapolis 15 years ago. Survivors include a
brother, Charles Donald Greenman of Attica. Graveside rites 10:30 a.m. Saturday
at Riverside Cemetery, Attica, the Rev. Marvin Jones officiating. Maus Funeral
Home Attica in charge of local arrangements. Also surviving are a nephew, Sen.
Joseph W. Harrison of Attica; and five nieces, Mrs. Pat Shoaf, Mrs. Donna Tiger
and Mrs. Dale Kimbrell of Attica; Mrs. Marilyn Hershberger of Hillsboro and
Mrs. Ann Russell of Green Bay, Wisc. - kbz
