VEEDERSBURG — Frank Greenly, 75, a native of this community and resident here before moving to Oakland, Calif., 20 years ago, died at his home there early Saturday morning. He was born Nov. 25, 1892 to Walter and Hattie Isley Greenly. He was a 1913 graduate of Veedersburg High School and attended Valparaiso University. Mr. Greenly taught school several years in South Dakota. His last employment was as an electrician for the Pullman Co. at Oakland. Surviving are his wife, Marguerite Crane Greenly, to whom he was wed March 31, 1917, and a sister, Mrs. Madge Reid of Veedersburg. Mr. Greenly was a member of New Century EUB Church here. The body is being brought to Fishero Funeral Home, where funeral arrangements are incomplete. -- typed by Walt W

Veedersburg –
Frank Greenly, 75, former resident of Veedersburg died at noon Saturday at his
home in Oakland, Calif after an illness of several months. He was born at
Veedersburg and graduated from Veedersburg HS in 1913. He attended Valparaiso College and for
several years taught school in South Dakota. After moving to Oakland he was employed
as an electrician for Pullman Co. In 1917 he married Margaruerite Crane, who
survives. He was a member of the New Century EUB Church at Veedersburg. Surviving with the widow, is one sister, Mrs.
Madge Reid of Veedersburg. The body is being returned to Veedersburg.

VEEDERSBURG — Funeral rites for Frank Greenly, native and former resident of Veedersburg who died Saturday at his home in Oakland, Calif., are announced for 2 p.m. Thursday at Fishero Funeral Home here. Rev. James W. Dyson will be the minister, with interment in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. -- typed by Walt W
