Mrs. Marguerite Greenley, 84, the oldest member of the Sterling Christian Church, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 1978 in Home Hospital in Lafayette.
She had resided in Veedersburg before moving to the Edgewood View Nursing Home in Oxford.
Born Feb. 6, 1894, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Margaret Irwin Crane. She was married to Frank Greenley who preceded her in death.
She had attended Valparaiso University.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Julia Boord of Marion, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Parham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery. - s
