Miss Anna Mae Greenburg, 85, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday (Aug. 22, 1960) at her home, 2612 E. 28th St. in Indianapolis, following a three week illness with a heart condition.
Born Sept. 1, 1874 at Romney, she was the daughter of William and Emily Steffen Greenburg. She was a former resident of Attica and had resided in Indianapolis for the past 45 years where she shared a home with her sister, Miss Lillian Greenburg.
Miss Greenburg was a former matron at Butler University and was a member of the Northside Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Lillian, Mrs. Carrie Anderson of Bedford arid Mrs. Laura Lane of Hillsboro; a brother, Harry of West Point; two nieces, Mrs. Ora Oswalt of Odell and Mrs. Louise Bilsland of Covington; a nephew, Lawrence of Veedersburg; and six other nieces and nephews.
Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. Robert Shanklin, pastor of the Jackson Heights Methodist Church, officiated with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery north of New Richmond. - jz
