Williamsport – Jesse Ray Green, 65, of 312 Thomas St, died at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday in Home Hospital, Lafayette where he was a patient one week. He had been in ill health five years.  Mr. Green was born in Attica and lived there a number of years. He resided a short time in Mellott prior to moving to Williamsport in 1949  He was employed as yard superintendent by Harrison Steel Casing Co for 32 years, retiring in 1965 because of ill health.  In 1925 he married Leora Froedge in Hammond. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Zink of Oxford, and two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Sexton of Lafayette and Mrs. Cecil Woods of Arkansas. - kbz

Green, Jesse Ray – Friends will be received at DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Service at 2 p.m. Thursday in DeSutter Chapel, the Rev. Harold B. Bachert officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Three grandchildren and one great grandchild survive. Three brothers preceded him in death. - kbz
