John S. GRAY well known farmer of the Waynetown Vicinity, passed away at his home here at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon. He had been seriously ill for four months. The deceased was born in Jackson Twp, Fountain Co, Oct 19, 1867 son of Abner and Minerva Stonebraker Gray. He was 1st married to Susan Sanders and later to Mrs. Effie Rice. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge at Waynetown. Surviving are the widow; one son Homer of near Waynetown; one brother, William of near Wallace and 4 grandchildren. The body will be taken to the Christian Church at 1 Sunday afternoon and friends may pay their respect until two o’clock p.m. time for the services which will be in charge of Rev. John Servies. Burial will be in the local Masonic Cemetery.
