Kingman – Howard Gray, 76, Kingman, died at 3:23 a.m. April 22, 1997, in Wishard Memorial Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born Oct 10, 1920 in Millcreek Township, Fountain County, the son of ROllie and Olive Gillum Gray. He married Marjorie Hogrefe Aug 29, 1975. She survives. He was a 1938 graduate of Kingman HS.  He was a retired shirring mechanic at Tee Pak in Danville, Ill. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Kingman American Legion Post #384, Covington VFW and former member of Free & Accepted Masons #314 Kingman. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters. Mary Jo Gray, Veedersburg and Debbie (Jerry) DeMotte, rural Kingman; three stepsons, Donald Terrell, NC; David Terrell, Danville, Ill; and Dale Terrell, Covington; a sister, Janet McKinney; 10 grandchildren and a great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gilman. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman with Rev. Stephen Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville Ill with graveside military rites. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. tonight (Friday) at the funeral home.  – kbz
