Hillsboro - Harry L. Gray, 88 retired farmer and plastering contractor died Wednesday evening (March 21) in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Come Join Us Class. Born Aug 11, 1884, in Fountain County he was a son of George L. and Inez Irvin Gray. He attended Mellott School. He was first married to Inez Riley, who died Jan 31, 1936. He was married to Effie Starnes on June 7, 1942. She died Jul 20, 1967. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Kemp of Garland, Tx a son, Emery L. Gray of Hillsboro; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Williams officiating. Burial will bein Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.

  Hillsboro—Harry L. Gray, 88, a life resident of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 21 at Culver Hospital.
  Born Aug. 11, 1884, in Fountain County, he was the son of George L. and Lucy Irvin Gray. He was married Dec. 22, 1906 to Inez Riley, who died Jan. 21, 1936. He was married June 7, 1942 to Effie Starnes, who died July 20, 1967.
  Mr. Gray was a retired farmer and plastering contractor. He was educated in Mellott schools. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Come Join Us Sunday School Class.
  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Kemp of Garland, Tex.; a son, Emory L. of Hillsboro; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by a brother.
  Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter C. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
