GRAY, Elmer - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg, June 18 – Elmer Gray, age 53, died at his home here this morning at 3:00 o’clock of complications.  His death followed several months illness. Mr. Gray was born near Mellott, the son of George and Lillie Irvin Gray. He was married to Alta Shipman, who preceded him in death. Before his illness, Mr. Gray was an employee of the Indiana State Highway Department.  The survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn O’Brien of Newport News, Va and one brother, Harry of south of Hillsboro. Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the J. Fred Parham funeral home with Rev. Charles Howard officiating. Burial in Bonebrake cemetery – kbz
