Waynetown - Funeral services for Alice M. Gray were conducted Monday afternoon at Servies Funeral Home, Rev. Guy Tremaine officiated assisted by Rev. John R. Servies Mrs. Anna Grenard was organist and included requested numbers, In the Garden and Old Rugged Cross. The pallbearers were Gerald Lang, Willis Schenck, Ray Thompson, Max Stockdale, Donald Moore, Keith Schenck and Edgar Henthorn. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. -- typed by Chris M.

WAYNETOWN – Alice M. Gray, 82, died at 4:40 a.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient three months. She was born in Lisbon, Iowa, June 14, 1877, a daughter of John S. and Anna Williamson Gray. She married Cooper Gray of Waynetown May 15, 1902, in Iowa. All her married life was spent in the Waynetown community. Mr. Gray died March 9, 1959. Mrs. Gray was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hartigan of Denver, Colo., and the Misses Dorothy and Francis Gray, Indianapolis school teachers; two half-sisters, Mrs. Perry Secor of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, and Mrs. Wilbur Secor of Milburn, Iowa, and a half-brother Lyall Gray of Iowa. Services are announced for 2 p.m. today at the Servies Funeral Home, where friends may call. Rev. Guv E. Tremaine will officiate, assisted by Rev. John R. Servies. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – jlr
