Mrs. Mary Graves, 77, a resident of the Hillsboro area all of her life, died Saturday morning in the Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient in the nursing home since July. Her parents were Byron and Sarah Kerr Frazier. She lived on the family farm all of her life. On Aug. 24, 1904, she married Warren Graves in Covington. He preceded her in death in 1960. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and a 50-year member of Fern Chapter 194, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a charter member of the Cain Township Farm Bureau, Cain Township Home Demonstration Club and the Fountain County Choral Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Warren of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Foxworthy of Hillsboro; a brother Homer Frazier of Oakland, Calif., and four nieces. She was also preceded in death by another daughter, Marie Graves. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Ross Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Hillsboro – Mrs. Mary Graves, age 77, a life-resident, died about 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in the Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She had been a patient in the home since July. Mrs. Graves was a 50-year member of the Fern Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a charter member of the Cain Township Farm Bureau, and Home Demonstration Club and the Fountain County Choral Club. She was born Jan. 31, 1886 on a farm near Hillsboro where she resided until going to the nursing home. She was the daughter of Byron and Sarah Kerr Frazier, and a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church. On Aug. 24, 1904 at Covington, she married Warren Graves. He died in 1960. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Warren of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Ether Foxworthy of Hillsboro; a brother, Homer Frazier of Oakland, Calif. and four nieces. A daughter preceded her in death. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at the Crumley Funeral Home. The Rev. Ross Kirk officiated. Burial was in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
