Veedersburg—Mrs. L. Graves, 75, a former employee of Covington Manor Nursing Home, Covington, died there at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 1977. She had resided there two years.
She formerly lived at 1114 College St., Veedersburg.
She was born in Lafayette and resided in the Veedersburg area the past 30 years. In 1934 at Lafayette, she was married to James Graves, who died in 1954.
Mrs. Graves had also worked at RMC Factory at Attica, and she was a member of Veedersburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. John (Virginia) Brock of Veedersburg.
Also surviving are four grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell, with Mr. Robert Walder of Attica, who presided. Interment was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. (Pape Funeral Home shows she was the d/o John & Lucy Burgess Slayton) -a
