John S. Graham died at his residence, one and one half miles south of this city on Thursday the 10th inst aged 72 years 9 months and 10 days. The funeral was conducted at the residence last Sunday by Elder AR Heath, his school mate of 65 years ago. He was born and live din this vicinity all his life. His father was one of the very first settlers in 1823, on Graham’s Creek. He joined the Christian Church in Covington 45 years ago, Elder AS McKinney, pastor.
