John F. Graham, 82, retired school teacher died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Cronk in Veedersburg at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening. Mr. Graham fell several months ago broke his hip and death was caused from complications that developed.  He had been making his home with his daughter for the past several months,.

He was born on June 20, 1863 at Eugene, Ind the son of John and Polly Stanton Graham.  He was married to Anna Rigdon who preceded him in death several years ago.  Mr. Graham had spent most of his life in the
vicinity of Danville, Ill. He had served as a teacher in the Catlin, Ridge Farm and Danville schools. Besides the daughter, he is survived by one grandson, John Cronk of Veedersburg and one great granddaughter.

The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home with Rev. JW Knight in charge. Burial will be made at Georgetown, Illinois.   --- transcribed by kbz
