Samuel Max Grady of Chesterfield, formerly of Veedersburg, age 59, died June 21 in St. John Hospital at Anderson. He had lived in Chesterfield about 30 years.
Survivors include the widow, Dorothy; his mother, Mrs. Ruth Grady of Chesterfield; a son, Mark of Muncie; a daughter, Donna, at home; and two stepchildren.
Funeral services were held June 24, at Ballard and Shirey Funeral Home in Daleville with burial in Memorial Park at Anderson. - S

Daleveill - Samuel Max Grady, 59, 715 105h St, Chesterfield, died Saturday evening at St. John's Hospital after an illness of several years. A native of Fountain County, he had formerly lived in Veedesrburg and had resided in Chesterfield the past 30 years. In 1975, he retired from Delco Remy Division. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of Eagles Lodge of Anderson and the American Legion of Daleville. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his mother, Ruth Grady of Chesterfield; a son, Mark Grady of Muncie; a daughter, Donna Grady at home; one stepson and one stepdaughter. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at the Ballard & Shirey Funeral Home here with Rev. Richard Carr officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park. - kbz
