  Malcolm L. Grady of Hammond, formerly of Covington, age 61, died Monday morning, April 13, in the Indiana Veterans Home at Lafayette. He was born in Fountain County, April 28, 1919, the son of Lewis and Anna McDonald Grady. Grady was a Covington High School graduate and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a resident of Hammond for 30 years and had retired after 23 years as a salesman with Sears.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at LaHayne Funeral Home in Hammond with graveside rites and burial after noon in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington was in charge of local arrangements. – thanks to S
