GRADY, Helen Allen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON — Helen Maxine Grady, 83, Covington, died at 6:42 p.m. on Aug. 21, 1999, in Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had been a resident of the Covington Manor Health Care Center for the past 18 months. Born Dec. 27, 1915, in Bismarck, Ill., she was the daughter of Hermano and Marie Isley Allen. She married Gerald Grady Jan. 23, 1937. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1995. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers and gardening. Survivors include: daughters, Jane Kenner, Kingman, and Linda Thomas, Stockwell; sons, Jerry Grady, Covington, and Allen Grady, Lafayette; sister, Mildred Allen, Veedersburg; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Donald Allen. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. Paul Kent officiating. Burial followed at the Bonebrake Cemetery south of Veedersburg. – jlr
