Clifford Grady, former Veedersburg man died Saturday evening at his home in Attica.  He was born near Veedersburg Feb 11, 1888 the son of Samuel and Virginia Clickner Grady.  He was married Sept 29, 1920 to Miss Ruby Weber of Covington.  Mr. Grady had been in failing health for several years.  He was a member of the Bethel  Baptist Church east of Covington, the Williamsport American Legion, DAV Danville, Ill, Moses Lodge and K of P Lodge at Covington.  He was employed at the Harrison Steel Castings Company for 26 years and was also employed by the county highway department and Overpeck Lumber Company.  Survivors besides the widow include one daughter, Mrs. Freda Reynolds of West Lebanon, four brothers, Henry of Danville, Ill; Samuel of Veedersburg, Homer of Attica and Fred of Attica, one sister, Mrs. May McLean of Stone Bluff and one granddaughter, Lynette Kay Reynolds. Funeral services were Monday afternoon in Attica with burial in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington. – kbz
