Covington - Mrs. Etta (Lape) Gouty, 75, a life resident of the Foster community died at 12:05 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill where she had been a patient since April 25. She was born in Warren County and was married to Ezra Gought in 1906.  She was the last of a family of six children and attended the Benson Chapel Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Earl of West Lafayette. - kbz

Gouty, Etta – Friends may call at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington after 7 p.m. Friday. Services in Benson Chapel Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. William Moon officiating. Burial in Lower Mound Cemetery. Surviving are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
