Murray Gott, 73, of 202 N. 8th Street, Beech Grove, a native of Mellott died Friday in St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove. Mr. Gott was an employee in the maintenance department at the Holiday Inn at Crawfordsville for six years. Prior to that he worked 10 yearsin Penn Central's Beech Grove shops. He retired nearly two years ago. He was a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church. Surviving with the widow, Elsie P. Gott, are two daughters, Mrs. Edith Owens of Advance and Mrs. Betty Dixon of Lebanon; 3 sons, Lee of Lebanon; Harold of Indianapolis and Edward of Jamestown; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Little & Sons Funeral Home at Beech Grove with burial in Pleasnat Hill Cemetery near Jamestown.
