Mrs. Mary Lenora GOTT 48 a resident of Rt 2, Jamestown expired early this morning in the Hospital. A native of Atwood, Ill, Mrs. Gott was born June 29, 1903 a daughter of Phylo and VIola (Keeling) Wildman and had resided in Boone County since 1935. She was employed by the AAA office for one year. She held memberhsip in the Christian Church in Mellott, the Dover Home Economics Club and the Mother's club of Jefferson Twp. In 1932 she was married to Murray Gott who survives. She also leaves two daugthers, Mrs. Edith Richardson of near Jamestown and Betty Jane Gott at home; 3 sons, Lee Gott of Lebanon, Harold and Edward at home; her stepmother, Mrs. Flora Wildman; two brothers, Paul & Austin Wildman of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Mrs. Vernie Williams of Pomona, California and Mrs. Edna Schultz of Newtown and 4 grandchildren. One child preceded her in death. Last rites will be observed in Pleasant View Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Guy Walters of Mellott & Rev. Leroy Houk in charge. Burial will be in Pleasant View cem. Friends may call at the Russell & Hitch Funeral home until noon Wednesday when the body will be removed to the church to lie in state.
