Mrs. Mary Ann Gott, 72, Mellott, died at midnight Thursday night at the Rudisell Nursing Home in Covington. She had suffered a stroke May 6 and was taken to the nursing home about 10 days ago. Born Oct 30, 1891, near Mellott, she was the daughter of John and Delphine Howard Lively. She was married to Charles Gott, who preceded her in death six years ago. Mrs. Gott was an active member of the Mellott United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Mellott Book Lovers Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eglah Metseff, Kankakee, Ill., and two grandsons whom she reared, Louis Metseff, Air Force and Danny Metseff, Costa Mesa, Calif. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Gott, 72, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. Don Cutts, pastor of the United Church of Christ, will be in charge. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. Mrs. Gott died Thursday night at a Covington nursing home.

Mellott – Mrs. Mary Ann (Lively) Gott, 73 of Mellott died of a stroke at midnight Thursday in Rudisill Nursing Home, Covington. She became ill May 2 and was taken to Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She was moved from the hospital to the nursing home about 10 days ago. She was born near Mellott and lived there all her life. She was an active member of Mellott United Church of Christ. Her husband, Charles Gott died about six years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eglah Metseff of Kankakee, Ill.
