George A. Gott, 72, died at Culver Hospital Wednesday morning after being stricken by a heart attack at his home at 712 Curtis St. late Monday evening. Mr. Gott was born Sept. 2, 1887, near Mellott, the son of Rev. Rholla and Rebecca Murray Gott. He was married Feb. 16, 1928, to Florence Ann Stanley at Connersville, Ind. His wife died Dec. 26, 1931. He was a member of the Congregational Christian Church at Kokomo and a member of the Eagles Lodge. An auto paint finisher by trade, Mr. Gott worked for the R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. and Steel Industries Inc. Survivors include one son, Rollie, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Hugh Patton of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Neva Conley of Kokomo; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. --typed by Walt W
