Funeral services for Milford Gossett, 52 well known farmer who resided near Veedersburg who died suddenly of heart trouble Sunday evening were held at the New Liberty Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. OW McGaughey of Veedersburg officiating. The burial was made in the Bonebrake cemetery.  Mr. Gossett had been ill for some weeks but was not considered in a serious condition and his death was unexpected.  He is survived by his wife, two sons, Roland who lives at home and Chester living at Fithian, Ill; two brothers, Grant and Albert both of Veedersburg and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Parker of Clarks Hill; Mrs. Henry Reath of Alamo and Mrs. Wesley Sutton of Fredonia, Kan.
