Funeral services for Gale Victor Gossett, 45, of Princeton, Ill, son of Mrs. Jessie Gossett of Veedersburg, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Norburg Funeral Home, Princeton. Interment was made in Princeton. Mr. Gossett, formerly of Oakwood, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 1965 in the Perry Memorial Hospital. He had been critically ill since November 17, 1964. He was born May 13, 1919, on a farm north of Oakwood and was graduated from Oakwood High in 1936. He was graduated from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture. He taught at Grant Park, Ill. for three years before going to Princeton where he had been head of the high school agriculture department since 1944. Mr. Gossett was married June 6, 1941, to Peggy Ervin of Danville, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Vicki and Shelley both at home; his mother, Mrs. Gossett of Veedersburg, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Crowell of Clinton, Ill., and Mrs. Clancy (Jean) Ervin of Danville. - jlr
