GOSS, Jessie Fullenwider - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Rochester, Ind., Feb. 16 - Mrs. Jessie F. Goss, 69, wife of Ira D. Goss, prominent local resident, died at 5 o'clock this morning at her home, 1611 South Main street, following an illness of nine months. She was born in Hillsboro, Ind., on Dec. 31, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fullenwider, and was married to Mr. Goss in July, 1904. She was a member of the Grace Methodist church and the local Women's club. They had resided here seven years, moving here from Chicago after Mr. Goss, a native of Rochester, retired from active business. They had resided in Evanston and Chicago many years. Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Archer, Rye, N. Y.; a son, David, Glenview, Ill.; four grandchildren; a sister Mrs. E. C. Ohaver, Freeport, Ill.; and a brother, H. R. of Los Angeles. The body is at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. Final rites will be held Thursday afternoon, with Rev. F. R. Briggs officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
