KINGMAN - Charles P. Goodwin, age 85, a life resident of Kingman Rt. 2, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. l, at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville, Ill. He had been a patient there since September. Mr. Goodwin was born June 15, 1885, in Elizabethon, Tenn., the son of Alfred and Mary Helen Dugger Goodwin. He was married to Nancy Lunsford, who survives. He was retired from the Nickle Plate Railroad and was a member of the Waterman Baptist Church at Lodi. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: three daughters, Mrs. Dessire Livengood of Tangier, Mrs. Helen Riggs of Cayuga and Mrs. Mildred Potter of Potomac, Ill.; two sons, Roscoe of Bellevue, Ohio and Roy of Cayuga; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 4, at the Waterman Baptist Church. The Rev. John Hostler officiated and burial was in Miller Cemetery. The Watson Funeral Home of Cayuga was in charge of arrangements. - jlr
