DANVILLE, ILL. - Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl E. Goodrich, age 62, of El Paso, Tex., former resident of Danville, and mother of Mrs. Jean Wheaton of Covington Rt. 2, who died Wednesday night, Dec. 29, in El Paso, were held at 10 a. m. Monday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home here. Mrs. Goodrich, who died in St. Joseph's Hospital in El Paso where she had been a patient eight weeks, was born Oct. 4, 1903, in Oakwood. Ill., the daughter of Gus and Melissa Miller Jacobs. She was a self-employed furrier and dressmaker. She was married to Scott Goodrich who preceded her in death in 1959. Surviving are: two sons, Jack Goodrich of Danville and Jerry Goodrich of El Paso; two daughters, Mrs. Wheaton of Covington Rt. 2 and Mrs. Sandra Leisch of Danville; three brothers, James Jacobs of Catlin, John Jacobs of North Dakota and Albert Jacobs of Danville; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. - jlr
