George W. Gooding, 77, an area farmer of Wallace, died at 1:20 ? m. Sunday July 5, 1970 at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in failing health for several months. Born April 27, 1893, in Fountain county, he was the son of Isaac and Sarah Clouse Gooding. On April 27, 1918 he was married to Viola Allen at Rockville who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, George, Russell and Dale and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.

George W. GOODING, 77, died Sunday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been hospitalized there since suffering a stroke June 18. Born in Fountain County, he was educated in Fountain County schools and married the former Miss Viola Allen of Rockville in 1918. A farmer in the are for the past 51 years, Mr. Gooding is survived by his widow and three sons, George E. Gooding of Crawfordsville; Russell Gooding of Wallace and Dale Goodin of Rt. 1, Kingman.
