Charles L. Goodin, 67 of Kingman died Saturday morning, January 22, 1972 at his home. Born August 25, 1904 in Fountain County, he was the son of John & Eva Sampson Goodin. On Aug 6, 1927 he married June Weaver who survives. A prominent farmer in the Wallace community, Mr. Goodin was a graduate of Wallace HS and a member of the Freedom Congregation Christian Church near Wallace. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Judith) Jaques of Omaha, Nebraska and Mrs. James (Sharon) Webster of Kingman; two brothers, William T of Venice, Fla and Esten of Kingman; a sister, Mrs. Susie Stonebraker of Indianapolis and five grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in the Wolf Creek Cemetery south of Wallace. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday.
