Mrs. Lucy Gooden, died Thursday morning at her home at Roberts after a 10 days illness of pneumonia. The deceased was 51 years old and was born at West Point. She is survived by her husband and two children, John and Hattie Gooden and her father, Albert Borden of Beverly, New Jersey. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning from the Stidham Memorial Church at Elston and burial will be made at Sickler. - kbz
