Hillsboro - Scott W. Goff, 16 resident of Sugar Mill Lake on Rt 1, Hillsboro died after an extended illness Sunday evening in the Indiana University Medical Center of Indianapolis where he had been a patient.  A junior at Fountain Central HS he had been an honor student and an outstanding athlete in track and baseball.  One of his special interests was assisting special education and handicapped pupils in swimming and sports.  Born Jan 5, 1962 in Hileah Fla he was the son of Kennard Goff of Rt 1, Hillsboro and Bonnie Shubert of Indianapolis who survive.

Other survivors are a brother, Kent of Indianapolis, his stepmother, Charlene Goff; his stepfather, Robert Shubert; two stepbrothers James and Timothy Rogers; a stepsister, Tamara Rogers; paternal grandmother Mrs. Ruby Goff of Russellville and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dona Phillips of Wallace, NC. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, Bro. Patrick Cheehey and Rev. Harrison Neal will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today and after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
