Covington - James A. Glover, 81, Covington, died suddenly Monday at 2:55 p.m. He had been ill six months. Mr. Glover, a farmer most of his life, had been a resident of Covington 15 years. He was born June 13, 1880, son of William M. and Mary E. Coffing Glover. On October 9, 1901, he married Anna Wolfe. Survivors include four sons, Albert Glover of Covington; Harlan Glover of Veedersburg; Wayne Glover of Indianapolis and Don Glover of Williamsport, five daughters: Mrs. Berniece Duncan of Mellott; Mrs. Lucille Goddard of Lafayette; Mrs. Louise Schackel of Indianapolis; Mrs. Cleo Slazas of Veedersburg and Mrs. James Folz of Cincinnati; 27 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, three sisters and five brothrs. Mr. Glover was a member of Osborne Prairie Church where he was a senior deacon and 40-year member of Farm Bureau. Friends may call at the Hegg Funeral Home at Covington until an hour before funeral services Thursday. The services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Osborne Prairie Church Rev. William Moon will officiate. Burial will be at Osborne Prairie Cemetery.
