Source: Obituary from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana, now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Anna Olive Wolfe Glover, the youngest child of Nathan and Mary Louise Hull Wolfe, was born in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, on January 31, 1881. At the age of six her family moved to Covington, Indiana, where she attended public school and the old Indiana Normal College, where she later served as an assistant instructor of English, Physiology and Bookkeeping. She was married on October 9, 1901, to James A. Glover and to this union were born ten children: Mrs. Harvey Duncan of Mellott; Frank Emerson Glover, deceased; Mrs. Clarence Goddard of Lafayette; Mrs. Elmer Schackel, of Indianapolis; Mrs. George Slazas of Veedersburg; Albert Glover, Covington; Mrs. Vernon Volz, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Donald Glover, of Chicago, Illinois, Harlan Glover, of Veedersburg; and Wayne Glover, of Indianapolis. There are twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her children helped her keep her youth and the Glover home was often the scene of Sunday School and Young Peoples' parties. She was a member of the Osborne Prairie Christian Church. She was an avid lover of music and an accomplished pianist. Many of the musicians in the community received their lessons from her. She was a member of the Covington Musicale and was also active in the Home Economics Club and the Sunshine Thimble Club. The Thimble Club provided her with much enjoyment and friendship, especially during the years of her illness. Until February, 1946, her entire married life had been spent on the farm. She suffered a stroke on December 27, 1945, but never lost her sweet smile, hearty laugh or love for practical joking. Her husband has been a constant and devoted companion and has given unselfishly of his time, love and care. One of her greatest joys was derived from the rides to the farms and to their friends and childrens' homes. On October 10, 1951, the day following their Golden Wedding Anniversary, two of her wishes were fulfilled when she passed away in her sleep and in the autumn season. She took a book from the Shelf of Life And filled it day by day, With a record true of toil and strife, And pleasures that came her way. She filled a page with kindly deeds, And another one with prayer That she somehow might meet the needs Of those who were placed in her care. She filled a page with happy hours Spent with her friends so true- And a memory page with lovely flowers For those whose life was through. She took a book from the Shelf of Life- Tried to fill it well-and won. And now she has placed it on the Shelf For the Book of her Life is done.  --typed by Walt W
