GLAZE, Estelle Henning

Mrs. Estelle M. Glaze of RR 4, Attica, age 75, died Monday night, July 7, in Woodland Manor Nursing Center at Attica. She was born in Waveland, March 7, 1905, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Henning. March 8, 1924, she married Richard Glaze, who survives. Mrs. Glaze was a member of the War Mothers of Attica and the VFW Auxiliary. She had been employed as a cook in Attica at Carr’s Tavern and Cheak’s Restaurant.

  Also surviving are three sons, James of Redland, California, Harold of Lafayette and Arthur of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Isole Harmon of Rockville; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Donald Williams officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. -s

Attica - Mrs. Estelle Mable Glaze, 75, of Rt 4, Attica, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday in Woodland Manor Nursing Home where she had been a patient two years.  Born at Waveland, she attended school at Rockville. She formerly lived in Parke County and had been an Attica resident 37 years. In 1924 she was married to Richard Glaze.  He is a retired employee of Myers Street Fabricating  Co, Inc.  

Mrs. Glaze had been a cook at local restaurants several years.  She was a member of Attica War Mothers and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  Surviving with the husband are three sons, James Glaze of Redlands, Calif; Harold Glaze of Lafayette and Arthur Glaze of Attica; and a sister, Isole Harmon of Rockville.
