William Glascot, 69 of Michigan City, Indiana died at noon Sunday July 5 at the Warren Clinic at Michigan City where he had been a patient 7 weeks. He was the son of Alva and Emma Fletcher Glascock, born near Veedersburg Nov 8, 1883. His younger days were spent in Veedersburg and vicinity – attended the Veedersburg schools and later attending a pharmacy school at Indianapolis where he became a registered pharmacist. Early in life he was married to Isa Stembaugh of Veedersburg. Their early married life was lived in Veedersburg, later moving to Crawfordsville where they successfully operated their own drug business, Isa being a constant companion in their business career. Mr. Glascot later became associated with the Warren Clinic at Michigan City, the position he was holding at the time of his last illness.  He was a member of the Veedersburg Christian church. Survivors include his wife, Isa; two brothers, Fred Glascock of Veedersburg and Arnet Glascock of Lafayette, several nieces and nephews.  Bill with his cheerful disposition and a bit of humor had the ability of making many friends and will be sadly missed by many. The body arrived at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon. Services were conducted Thursday afternoon with Rev. Richard Owen of the Christian Church officiating.  Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery with the Parham Funeral Home in charge.
