GLASCOCK, Norris

Norris Glascock, age about 60, died at Lakeview hospital in Danville, Ill., shortly after noon Thursday of injuries received earlier in the day. Glascock, a farmer living near Kingman, suffered a fractured skull when his automobile collided with another at cross roads south of Veedersburg at 10:35 o’clock. Mr. Glascock, who was riding with her husband, and Frederick Downs, 25, driver of the other car, escaped injury. Downs lives near where the accident occurred. A Veedersburg physician gave first aid at the scene of the crash and Glascock was then rushed to the hospital. The accident victim lived most of his life in the vicinity of Veedersburg, but recently moved to a farm near Kingman. He was a large property owner and was widely known. He was the son of Perry and Laura Norris Glascock. His marriage to Sophia Bonebrake took place a number of years ago. Survivors besides the wife include two stepsons. State Officer James J. Gilliland of Crawfordsville investigated the accident and arrested Downs on a charge of driving an automobile on which there were no license plates. He will be arraigned in justice of the peace court in Veedersburg. – thanks muches to “S”
