WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) - Charles D. Glascock, 76, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday (Dec. 30, 1974) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He had been ill with a heart condition for some time. Mr. Glascock farmed in the Scotts Prairie community south of Hillsboro until retiring in 1968 to move to Waynetown. Born Aug. 17, 1898, in Scotts Prairie, he was the son of George James and Susie Nolan Glascock. He was married Oct. 14, 1925, to Mable Dinsmore of the Steam Corner community. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marihelen Glascock of Schoolcraft, Mich.; three grandsons, Sam, Tony and Nick Glascock, all of Schoolcraft; three great-grandchildren and two cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles R.; a grandson, Robert A.; and two brothers. Mr. Glascock was a graduate of Hillsboro High and was a member of the Scotts Prairie Christian Church. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home. The Rev. Stanley Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - jlr
