Mrs. Irene Gill, 64, Mason, Ohio, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, at Burnham Hospital in Champaign, Illinois.
She was born March 25, 1919 in Attica, the daughter of Oris and Annie Jones Phelps. April 28, 1947, she married Curtis Gill, who survives. She was a member of Crestview Presbyterian Church in Pisgah, Ohio and Eastern Star.
Other survivors include three sons, Dennis W. Gill of Bossier City, Louisiana, Larry L. Gill of Mason and Darrell L. Gill of Toledo, Ohio; a brother, Leslie Phelps of Fresno, California; five sisters, Letha Turnpaugh, Louise Bannon and Phyllis Taylor, all of Hedrick, Indiana, Stella Hines of Hoopeston, Illinois, and June Thompson of West Lebanon; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild and a sister.
Services were conducted Saturday at Shorten Funeral Home in Mason. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Berhalter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. -s-
