GILBERT, Roy W - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Roy W. Gilbert of Covington, age 86, died Sunday morning, July 19, in Covington Manor Nursing Center. He was born in Troy Township of Fountain County, March 29, 1896, the son of James Louis and Oakey Remster Gilbert. He married Esther Irvin, who died in 1957.

  Survivors include two sons, William E. of Toledo, Washington, and Meryl Eugene of San Jose, California; four grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

  Funeral services were held at Skyline Funeral Home in Portland, Oregon. Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. – thanks to S
