GIBSON, Donald Wayne - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Donald Wayne Gibson of Indianapolis, age 61, died Wednesday, October 21, in Community Hospital at Indianapolis. He was the father of Don Gibson, local attorney.

  A native of Upland, he had lived in Indianapolis for 41 years and worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad for 39 years before retiring as a conductor in 1979.

  Other survivors include the widow, Ruthanna; a sister, Irene Bowen; his stepmother, Louise Gibson; a half brother, Edward Gibson; and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Shirley Brothers east Chapel in Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. – thanks to S
