COVINGTON — Shelby Jean Gerard, 62, 421 Union St., Covington, died at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000 at her residence. She was born Aug. 11, 1937 in Kingman, the daughter of George and Kitty Clover Hankins. She was married to ……..ennis M. Gerard. He survives. She had resided in Covington for eight months. Survivors, besides the husband, include: two daughters, ……..erry (Sandy Dale) Harper and Lois (Frank) Goodwin, both of Covington; a brother, Sherman Dean Hankins, Attica and a sister, Dortie Jo (Bill) Price, Williamsport. She was preceded in death by her parents. Gravesite services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington, with Pastor Bob Hamblen officiating. Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, was in charge of arrangements. – jlr
